Some of the characteristics of Hazelnut Oil are as follows;
Hazelnut Oil among other Edible Cooking Oils, has the highest burning temperature and the lowest freezing point. The low degree of freezing, reduces the risk of stenosis and vascular occlusion in the bloodstream. With its high burning temperature (220-240 ° C), it prevents the problem of burned oil taste, smell and reduces the carcinogens risks. It does not contain trans fatty acids, cholesterol and additives. Since B2 and B6 vitamins which are essential for the production of blood cells and good for mental health are found in abundance in the refined hazelnut oil, it can be said that regular consumption can be beneficial especially for children. About 77% of the monounsaturated fatty acid (oleic acid) in its composition, enables easy digestion as a source of quick energy. According to the researches, hazelnut oil; is the kind of oil that benefits the human body most, increases the level of beneficial cholesterol and can be quickly converted to energy by rapid digestion.
